Central America operator Amnet Telecommunications said it will upgrade its operational support system environment with Sigma Systems' device provisioning manager
The solution will allow Amnet to simplify activation and management of its VoIP and high-speed internet services as part of a double-play bundle, and cost-effectively scale as its subscriber base grows.
Also, the solution will help Amnet auto-configure and provision business and residential customer-premises equipment, including PacketCable, SIP, DOCSIS 3.0 and IPv6 devices.
Vincencio Maya, regional CTO of Amnet, said that with the device provisioning manager, Amnet can easily provision and activate services for its growing base of triple-play subscribers without any impact on their service.
