Belgacom extends Samsung alliance to business market

Belgacom and Samsung are jointly researching business-to-business opportunities, as part of an extended cooperation alliance signed this week.
The Belgian incumbent will also work with the consumer electronics giant to develop health, public and financial services for business customers as part of the strategic partnership, which builds on an existing agreement covering the residential sector.
Belgacom chief Didier Bellens says the collaboration aims to simplify management of day-to-day communications for businesses by offering “a combination of services and products in a single, end-to-end, solution along with a service guarantee.”
DJ Lee, executive vice president of global sales and marketing at Samsung, adds the deal “encompasses all product lines of Samsung and Belgacom.”
