BT wins call center contract with Microsoft

BT has signed a contract over 2 years to manage Microsoft's global "OneCall" call center routing initiative.
Under the agreement, BT will design, build, deploy and manage a solution to unify and manage Microsoft's contact centers throughout the world into a single network-based contact center environment.
The contract calls for an 18-month deployment schedule across 77 Microsoft call centers with potential to expand to more than a hundred centers globally.
The "OneCall" solution will enable Microsoft's call centers worldwide to be centrally managed for call routing.
"With our global reach and proven track record managing projects of this size and complexity, we and our partners look forward to providing Microsoft a solution that will improve efficiency and reduce their costs," Humphrey Penney, VP of global business markets in BT, said.
