CheckFree has completed its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Boston-based Upstream Technologies.
The business will be integrated with the company's investment services division, which provides a platform for the managed accounts industry, including portfolio management, client reporting and a large data network available to brokers/dealers, money managers and investment consultants.
The acquisition allows CheckFree to deliver the Upstream web-based model management, decision support, trading and real-time order management tools as complementary capabilities to the CheckFree core platform.
