China Telecom chooses AsiaInfo technology

China Telecom has chosen AsiaInfo Holdings to upgrade its online self-service center for nine provinces in northern China.


Under the terms of agreement, AsiaInfo will employ its leading Telecom Web Self-Service (TWSS) solution to provide a unified online customer experience with robust self-service capabilities.


The new system will feature enhanced account management functions and general account servicing capabilities.


According to China Telecom, as Internet usage in China continues to grow rapidly, user-friendly and efficient online self-service centers are becoming a key component of telecom CRM systems.
