Czech T-Mobile reported a 2005 net profit of 4.9 billion koruna ($206.8 million), a 12.9% rise from 2004 figures, an AFP report said.
Citing a release from the company, the report said turnover rose by 6% to 27.9 billion koruna ($1.2 billion).
The report further said Deutsche Telekom-controlled T-Mobile announced 4.63 million customers at the end of 2005, putting it in second place in the Czech market behind Eurotel, indirectly owned by Telefonica, which had 4.68 million customers.
