Ericsson successfully launched HSPA on the uplink of Elisa 3G network, Ericsson said in a statement.
HSPA on the uplink allows data transfer speeds of 1.4 Mbps, more than three times the speed of traditional 3G networks, Ericsson said.
Elisa, headquartered in Helsinki, is a leading Finnish telecomms services company with 1.3 million fixed line subscriptions and over 2.2 million mobile customers. Elisa is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Helsinki.
