Former BT exec joins Alcatel-Lucent

Alcatel-Lucent has appointed George Nazi to its quality assurance and customer care leadership team, based in Paris.
 
Nazi, who will be deputy to Janet Davidson, executive vice president of Alcatel-Lucent and president of quality assurance and customer care, will resume the new role on February 15.
 
Before joining Alcatel-Lucent, he was with BT, responsible for all aspects of its 21st Century Network transformation program (21CN), as well as the business’ global networks and IT infrastructure platforms.
 
Before leading BT’s 21CN program, Nazi was responsible for the design and build of BT’s Global IP/MPLS network across 170 countries.
 
Separately, Alcatel-Lucent has appointed Frédéric Sutter as global head of Defense markets, with the exception of the US Federal Government - which is managed through LGS.
