Google offers customised search

Google is offering a new tool to allow users to customise their search queries. SearchWiki enables users to change the order of, remove or add web search results.

Next time they perform the same search, the personalised version will come into play, according to the BBC.

Industry watchers predict one huge problem with the effort.

'Most people are not going to engage with it and think about where the results should be - if it's above this one or below that one,' said Greg Sterling, an editor with SearchEngineLand.com, was quoted saying in the BBC report.
