Around 140 mobile operators in 56 countries have committed to deploy LTE networks, claims a new study from the GSA, with a further 56 operators conducting pre-commitment trials. The study conducted by the supplier organisation, which covers both FDD and TDD modes of LTE, stated that these 196 operators are spread across a total of 75 countries, and indicated a fast growing determination to push ahead with LTE.
