Mobile content provider Handango has announced a content distribution agreement with The Carphone Warehouse, Europe's largest independent mobile phone retailer. The partnership will kick off with Handango providing a collection of new applications for the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 smartphone. These applications will include ringtones, mobile games, Instant Messaging services and a HTML email viewer, all of which will be available through a special website being created by Handango. The website will be featured in the first email sent by Carphone Warehouse to all its new customers. Carphone Warehouse staff at the company's 2400 retail outlets will actively promote the website and demonstrate it to customers.
