Intec revenue up 6.5% in H1

Intec Telecom Systems posted a 6.5% increase in revenue to 61.3 million pounds ($121.9 million) in the first half ended March 31 from 57.6 million pounds ($114.5 million) in the same period last year.

 

The company, however, registered an operating loss of 8 million pounds ($15.9 million), following an impairment charge and exceptional items worth 10.9 million pounds ($21.7 million).

 

During the period, Intec secured new contracts in the US, Australia, Brazil, Russia, Poland, the Caribbean, China and Vietnam.

 

It also introduced new products, including a new billing solution for the mobile sector and a solution to new EU data retention requirements.
