Internet security specialist McAfee is shoring up its consumer, mobile and small business unit with the appointment of John Thode as executive vice president and general manager.
Thode reports directly to co-president Todd Gebhart and is based in the US. He joins McAfee from Dell, where he was general manager of consumer products, and has 30 years experience in the wireless infrastructure and consumer handset markets.
