John Visentin to lead HP enterprise services

HP has appointed John Visentin as executive vice president of HP Enterprise Services, effective immediately.

Visentin previously led HP Enterprise Services for the Americas. He replaces Tom Iannotti, who announced his retirement earlier this year.

In his new role, Visentin will be responsible for driving growth in HP Enterprise Services, which delivers technology infrastructure, applications and business services. He will become a member of the company’s executive council, reporting directly to Léo Apotheker, HP president and chief executive officer.

Prior to joining HP, Visentin held several senior executive positions at IBM. Most recently, he was general manager of IBM Integrated Technology Services for North America.
