Kabira Technologies has named Manish Gupta vice president of global marketing.
A seasoned executive, Gupta brings with him an extensive track record covering multiple segments of the communications industry.
In his new post, Gupta will lead all marketing functions for Kabira worldwide, including product management, product marketing, marketing strategy, public relations, and marketing communications.
Gupta has held leadership roles across a wide span of telecom technology and infrastructure companies in 3G, Wimax, DSL, VoIP, e-commerce, webcasting, interactive television, and satellite communications.
He was previously a member of the board of directors of the Wimax Forum and Aperto Networks, and was formerly VP of marketing and alliances at Aperto.
