Koreans sue Apple

Trouble is brewing for Apple in South Korea, where nearly 30,000 citizens are backing a lawsuit over the collection of location information by its smart devices.
 
A total of 27,000 angry consumers are seeking damages of 1 million won ($928) each for the intrusion on their privacy, which Apple admitted to in April.
 
The potential outcome is a genuine 50:50 bet. The lawyer heading the lawsuit successfully sued Apple earlier this year, however permission for the firm to store user's location data was included in its lengthy iTunes terms and conditions, the BBC reports.
