Maxis, Altobridge to deploy GSM systems to remote areas

Malaysia's Maxis Communications and Ireland's Altobridge will jointly deploy remote GSM wireless communication systems to Malaysian communities and enterprises cut off from standard telecom networks.

Altobridge has developed a platform that makes it possible for people in remote communities to cost effectively communicate using standard mobile phones.
