NGMN Alliance, TM Forum team up for OSS innovation

The NGMN Alliance and TM Forum have joined forces to develop optimized management systems and operations for next-gen mobile networks.

Under a co-operation agreement signed this week, the parties have pledged to work on OSS solutions for all-IP network infrastructure.

The developed products will be based on TM Forum's Frameworx best-practice standards, and the NGMN will also aim to achieve collaboration with other networking standards such as 3GPP.

“We will work together with TM Forum to ensure broad, industry-wide support and adoption of NGMN’s requirements and use-cases in those areas for the benefit of the whole industry,” NGMN Alliance operating officer Peter Meissner said.
