NSN supplies fibre systems to Bosnia and Herzegovina

BH Telecom, a network operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will use Nokia Siemens Networks' (NSN) fibre optic platform to expand its services, a Telecomworldwire report said.

NSN will also provide BH Telecom with a network management system for next generation optical networks, as well as network implementation and training services for BH Telecom's staff, to ensure network launch within agreed deadlines. The deliveries are planned for the second quarter of 2008.

BH Telecom is the first operator in the country to implement Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing technology, according to NSN.
