O2 Germany selects Opera Mini browser

Opera Software announced that mobile operator O2 Germany has selected the Opera Mini browser for a number of handsets in its 'internet-to-go initiative.'

The Opera Mini browser will be available on several Samsung, Sony Ericsson and Nokia handsets as either pre-installed or over-the-air versions.

Opera Mini will be O2-branded featuring a customised skin and pre-set bookmarks.

The financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

Opera Software, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, develops the cross-platform Opera web browser for PCs, mobile phones and other networked devices.
