France Telecom has embarked on an international expansion drive for its in-house online advertising network. The Orange Advertising Network is targeting the South American and progressively the US market for growth.
The carrier reveals that it has signed up over 20 Latin American online publishers with a combined US/Latin American monthly audience of 21 million uniques.
The online ad network evolved from Orange’s French business which created and sold ads for French clients such as Air France.
The French business was ramped up earlier this year, with a push to sell cross-platform advertising across “three screens”- mobile, web and IPTV.
It also acquired UK digital agency Unanimis prior to its JV deal with ad-funded mobile MVNO Blyk.
