A Tier-1 EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) operator has awarded Redknee a multi-million-dollar license expansion for the Redknee Next Generation Rating and Charging (NGRC) solution.
Redknee says this solution provides advanced rating and charging capabilities that facilitates the increased adoption and consumption of the operator’s quickly growing data services.
With the deal, the operator can now support the rating and charging of high-value data services such as mobile TV and mobile broadband, as well as the increased use of data-intensive smartphones.
The solution also enables the operator to support tiered pricing packages based on individual bandwidth requirements, as well as “pay-as-you-go” data use.
