Comptel and Sandvine have completed interoperability testing of the Comptel Control and Charge, and Sandvine’s Policy Traffic Switch.
The joint solution enables service providers to offer and manage advanced data services while optimizing network usage.
The 3GPP-compliant solution consists of Comptel Control and Charge for the policy and charging rules function, and online charging system as well as Sandvine’s Policy Traffic Switch for both network policy control and for the policy and charging enforcement function.
Also, Comptel Subscriber Profile Repository is used for storing subscription information related to the policies and charging models that are applied.
