The Sable Networks S80 and S240 Service Controllers use programmable
ASICs to recognize protocols and applications in-line in real time.
The S-Series Service Controllers also provide policy enforcement with hierarchical bandwidth management for each application. Each session is managed individually, with tens of millions of active sessions supported in single chassis that scales up to 220G and supports a range of both Ethernet and SONET interfaces.
