Symsoft wins deal from Telenor unit

Real-time charging, messaging and IP services developer Symsoft has received an order for a Nobill Gateway GPRS Support Node (GGSN) solution from Maritime Communications Partner, a subsidiary of Norwegian telecom operator Telenor.

The solution, which includes a packet charger, will enable MCP to offer ship and ferry operators to provide advanced mobile internet services, such as e-commerce, gaming and multimedia to their passengers.

The value of the order was not disclosed.
