T-Mobile to offer Microsoft push e-mail services in the Netherlands

T-Mobile Netherlands announced the availability of an e-mail service for small and medium-sized businesses based on Microsoft's messaging solutions.

In a statement, T-Mobile said the service would be made available for Windows Mobile 5.0-based devices, including smartphones.

By being first to market with new business services for its high-value customers, T-Mobile Netherlands expects to increase revenue and improve customer retention.

The statement said T-Mobile Netherlands would provide the smartphones and the GPRS network, while a Microsoft-certified ISP would host the Exchange infrastructure.

Small and medium-sized business customers in the Netherlands could subscribe to this bundled service for as little as 19.95 euros per month, the company said.
