Portuguese wireline operator OniTelecom has awarded Telcordia with a contract to enhance overall customer experience, reduce costs and accelerate time-to-market for new services for its corporate customers. Under the deal, Telcordia will support OniTelecom's network and service evolution strategy to accelerate order-to-cash while reducing expenses and the time it takes to resolve faults. OniTelecom will deploy the Telcordia Fulfillment Suite to consolidate its disparate inventory databases onto a single database of record that is accessible by all departments working on service orders. This will enable OniTelecom to continue focusing on building new differentiating and revenue-generating services, such as complex service bundles and value-added services.
