Telenor in executive reshuffle

Telenor has replaced the CEOs of its operations in Denmark and Malaysia in a reshuffle of its top executives.

The company has appointed former marketing director for Telenor Sweden Jon Erik Haug as CEO of Telenor Denmark.

He will replace Henrik Clausen, who will take the helm at Telenor's 49%-owned Malaysian subsidiary DiGi.

Current DiGi CEO Johan Dennelind will step down on May 17, ending a six-year reign.

Clausen became CEO of Telenor Denmark after his company, Danish broadband provider Cybercity, was acquired by the parent entity in 2005.

Haug has held multiple executive positions within the Telenor group.
