TNS has launched its FusionPoint Lite transaction network services for UK and Irish retailers and merchants.
TNS said the solution allows owners, operators and deployers of POS terminals and ATMs to migrate legacy terminals to broadband quickly and securely, without the expense and disruption of replacing existing devices.
TNS offers high speed, secure and reliable transaction delivery to acquiring banks, processors and card associations/schemes through the FusionPoint Lite solution.
FusionPoint Lite uses a device called a ConverterPoint to bridge the technology gap between legacy equipment and the broadband service. The solution also includes automatic dial back-up as a standard feature, which protects retailers from loss of business due to broadband service interruption.
