Vodacom picks Ontology for unified network view
Vodacom SA in South Africa has selected Ontology Intelligent 360 to enhance its service assurance operations.
Ontology Systems solution provides a unified view of Vodacom’s transport network topologies in relation to customers’ services.
This enhances the company’s service assurance processes by improving the speed and consistency of network management information about disparate operations and business support systems.
Ontology CEO Benedict Enweani said the company has provided Vodacom with a unified model of physical and logical network resources, services and customers without the need for a large upfront design effort and hefty on-going cost of change.
