Zain deal takes Dovado into Middle East

Mobile broadband specialist Dovado has scored its first win in the Middle East, supplying routers to the Saudi Arabian arm of carrier Zain – Zain KSA.

The deal covers Dovado’s Tiny router, which Zain KSA markets as the Mini Router. The product complies with the 802.11n standard and is compatible with Zain’s 1800-MHz FDD-LTE network as well as its legacy 3G infrastructure.

“We are very proud to be at the forefront of this mobile broadband revolution that will not only enhance the customer experience, but also encourage further innovation in this area,” says Saud Abdullah Al Bawardi, chief commercial officer of Zain KSA.
