Some of Dutch operator Ziggo’s existing systems are being replaced Comptel’s convergent mediation software.
Comptel’s software platform is expected to enable Ziggo to more easily and rapidly collect, process and transform service transactions into billable records.
Ziggo serves around 2.8 million households, with some 1.8 million Internet subscribers, about 2.3 million subscribers for digital television and 1.5 million telephony subscribers.
“Comptel’s solution integrates easily with our billing and network systems, and offers a platform for the efficient and accurate mediation of our broadband services," said Arnoud Klerkx, director of applications development at Ziggo.
