Messaging and content services provider Comverse is the latest to introduce a product that will help mobile operators effectively manage the deluge of data traffic running over their networks. The company announced the Mobile Internet Hub, which includes a service policy management layer that creates rules for data traffic and enforces them in real time--for example, carriers can define tiered data plans to fit subscribers' respective lifestyles and needs, and set appropriate user notifications when necessary.
