Huawei, Motorola and Ericsson reported to win big WCDMA contract in China

Huawei, Motorola and Ericsson are reportedly the largest winners of a big WCDMA infrastructure contract from China Unicom. According to the South China Morning Post, the operator­ issued a tender covering 55 cities in 30 provinces, with the first rollout stage to cover 282 cities with a total capex of $11 billion during 2009.
