Novatel announces 4G device readiness

Novatel Wireless said its portfolio of LTE and WiMAX devices will be ready for upcoming network rollouts.

"Novatel Wireless is working closely with its carrier customers to roll out mobile broadband consumer devices aligned with carriers' 4G launch plans. As such, we're excited to start rolling out our devices and solutions for 4G technologies with upcoming network rollouts," Rob Hadley, CMO of Novatel Wireless, said in a statement.

He added that the company is seeing interest for all of its product categories: LTE embedded modules, USB devices and the MiFi Intelligent Mobile Hotspot.

Novatel's Ovation 4G modem portfolio will include an auto install Mobilink 3 connection manager and backward compatibility with legacy wireless technologies, the company said.
