WiFi enthusiasts from all over the world -- and from my experience quite a few others who escape precise defintion -- will gather in Las Vegas July 29-31 for the Third Annual Defcon Wifi Shootout Contest, in which nerdy types from all walks of life compete to see who would break the record of how far a WiFi signal can travel.
