According to Market Intelligence Center (MIC), total worldwide investment in WiMAX networks deployments is expected to reach $5.2 billion between 2006 and 2008. Compound annual growth rate is forecast to reach 150 percent. The U.S. market is expected to be the global leader in WiMAX network investment during the three-year period, with investments totaling more than $3 billion.
