Alltel is upgrading its popular My Circle rate plans by giving customers an additional five wireless or wireline numbers for unlimited calling.
Specifically, the My Circle 10 plan has been increased to My Circle 15 for $59.99 per month and includes 900 anytime minutes. In addition, the My Circle 20 has been increased in My Circle 25 and now costs $99.99 per month and includes 2,100 anytime minutes. The five additional numbers will automatically be available to existing My Circle customers on eligible plans.
The My Circle plans are available in the existing Alltel markets in 22 states that Verizon is required to divest. These 91 cellular markets areas continue to operate as Alltel Wireless. Wendy Michell, Alltel's director of customer lifestyle management, said that the upgrade in the plans will give customers a choice in tough economic times. "These plans provide more value to our customers," Michell said, adding that Alltel intends to keep the markets competitive and growing so that they are appealing markets to potential buyers.
