Amp'd chooses Medio for mobile search

After several months of collaboration, Amp'd Mobile selected Medio to power its search application, which is set to launch in Q1 of this year. The search app will predictively aid Amp'd users searching through the MVNO's more than 1 million pieces of content. In the release for the announcement, Amp'd reiterated that its average subscriber brings in $30 in data ARPU with 60 percent of that exclusively accounting for content purchases. Amp'd says the industry average is $6.80 in data ARPU with 25 percent of that coming from content purchases specifically.
