Analyst: Apple to cut Q1 production of iPhone

According to financial analyst Craig Berger of FBR Research, who monitors the chip companies that supply chips for Apple's iPhone, Apple plans on cutting its production by a larger margin during the first quarter of 2008 than it originally planned. Berger claims that Apple is cutting iPhone and iPod production by 60 percent compared to fourth quarter output. The company had originally planned to cut production by 50 percent when compared with the fourth quarter.
