AT&T's Homezone now remote controlled by phone

AT&T announced that its broadband television offering, Homezone can now be remote controlled by subscribers' mobile phones. The move is one of the first links between the mobile platform and the PC in the operator's grand plan of linking the "three screens." Homezone users can now view listings as well as manage and schedule recordings. The features build on previous controls for the PC platform and will soon include options to trigger on-demand downloads from the mobile phone. The feature requires a Web Access Protocol 2.0-compliant handset or other handheld device.
