It looks like the auction of advanced wireless services (AWS) spectrum is coming to a close. Just four new bids were cast in the 141st round with net bids reaching $13.7 billion. T-Mobile has provisionally won 119 licenses, spending $4.2 billion. Sprint Nextel and its cable partners had high bids on 137 licenses for $2.4 billion.
