BlackBerry gets push-to-talk from Kodiak

Kodiak Networks has inked a deal with RIM to bring push-to-talk functionality to BlackBerrys. Cingular Wireless already announced support for PTT with the BlackBerry Pearl, however, Kodiak claims deals with other carriers are already in the works. Currently, Kodiak's PTT offering is used by Alltel, Cingular and a few MVNOs, but since RIM is signing on it's a safe bet that other carriers have already done so as well. Those that haven't are sure to take another look, too.
