Clearwire released a teaser for its Q1 results that claim the company experienced "record subscriber growth" of more than 25 percent. Clearwire ended 2006 with about 206,000 users and had about 258,000 users at the end of Q1. So, quarterly net subscriber adds came to approximately 52,000 customers. The company also noted that customer churn was about 1.6 percent during the quarter. Clearwire said more than 232,000 of its subscribers are now U.S.-based. The company also has services in Ireland, Belgium and Denmark. Clearwire plans to release its Q1 results in full on May 8.
