DragonWave to supply WiFi backhaul to Earthlink

Canada's DragonWave has won a wireless backhaul contract with Earthlink for use between wireless base stations and the core of Earthlink's muni-WiFi networks. The company said one of the selling points of its backhaul technology is that its AirPair product operates within both licensed and unlicensed radio frequencies in the 11 GHz to 38 GHz range, ensuring an interference-free performance. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
