Deutsche Telekom (DT) officials denied a report that the company is planning to sell its US cell phone business, T-Mobile USA. While DT refused to comment on a report they termed "pure speculation," company officials said they were convinced the report in The Wall Street Journal Europe that started the rumor was false. Several analysts said they doubted the rumors, especially since T-Mobile USA is DT's leading wireless growth business.
