Last week FierceWireless unveiled our first-ever wireless industry quiz--25 multiple-choice questions intended to tax your brain and challenge your wireless industry intellect. The questions were not easy and required industry knowledge--both past and present.
This question, in particular, caused many of our test-takers to stumble: Wireless Knowledge is the failed joint venture between which two tech giants? The answer: Qualcomm and Microsoft. For those of you with long memories, you may recall that Wireless Knowledge was formed in 1998 to develop mobile enterprise products. Qualcomm purchased Microsoft's interest in the venture in 2001 and then shuttered it in 2003.
Out of hundreds of quiz-takers, only two FierceWireless readers correctly answered all 25 questions. The first reader to receive an A+ on our quiz was Michelle Resch. The second reader to get 100 percent was Mark Evans. Congratulations to both of you!
