Microsoft: Windows Mobile outsells RIM

Microsoft said it's ramping up sales of Windows Mobile with the launch of Windows Mobile 6: "Today we already outsell RIM Blackberry in the marketplace, something most people don't know," said Robbie Bach, president of Microsoft's Entertainment and Devices Division in his keynote at MIX 07. Bach also promised that Microsoft will sell 20 million Windows Mobile 6 units next year. Nokia's smartphone shipments in 2006 totaled about 38 million.
