In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Nextel Communications said "it believes that it has fully complied with its obligations to Nextel Partners." The announcement comes one day after Nextel Partners filed suit against Nextel Communications, claiming it has not been given sufficient input into Nextel's post-merger marketing strategy. Nextel Partners seeks immediate arbitration to settle the issue.
