Access has rebranded Palm OS as Garnet OS, which was the original code name PalmSource used for this version of the software. The rebranding follows a similar effort begun in October of last year: Access announced then that its subsidiary PalmSource would also take the name Access. Access is in the process of removing all references to "Palm" from it products in an effort to comply with its agreement to sell PalmSource's rights to the Palm trademark back to the subsidiary's former parent company, Palm.
